Empowering Families to Thrive
The department provides customized services that guide foster families, improve home living situations and keep families together whenever possible. When relocation is deemed necessary for a child’s safety, DCFS prioritizes stability while preserving close family connections when possible.
Meaningful Connections
The department is committed to making meaningful connections with the families we serve. From services to help families at risk remain intact, to reunification services for families whose children are in foster care, DCFS prioritizes safety and support.
